What happened?! Longbottom had blood all over his clothes.

Where did they take him?

Maybe St Mungo's, if he was hurt. Did you see what happened, though?

One minute we were talking about how it'd be cool to see how Aurors prepare and then he was nowhere about.

And he wasn't in the Wizengamot courtroom, either.

Well, I'm sure Professor Sinistra knows what happened. I saw one of the Slytherin prefects talking to her. She looked a little upset, Professor Sinistra, I mean.

Not that there was much of a demonstration. But he'd been saying he wanted to see it.

He knows about Aurors because he's a traitor?

From: [personal profile] alt_michael
It's not that stupid, Parkinson. It stands to reason that if his family's been in trouble with Aurors, he's seen them in action. He was saying he'd heard loads about them. Maybe it's because he heard about them chasing his parents.

So he wanted to see how they work, but they didn't let him in.

It doesn't explain the blood, though. Maybe he resisted and someone hexed him.

Just because his parents are traitors, that doesn't make him one.

alt_pansy: (Default)
From: [personal profile] alt_pansy
Let me rephrase. Just because his parents did something wrong doesn't mean we should judge him for it.

Better?

Date: 2010-07-29 07:47 pm (UTC)
alt_michael: (Default)
From: [personal profile] alt_michael
Well, I never said he did anything wrong. I just said that he might have been interested in the Aurors because of his parents.

I mean, I hadn't thought of it until they didn't let him come in. But maybe.

And if that's what it was then I'm not the one judging him, the Aurors are.

From: [personal profile] alt_draco
That's an interesting theory. Do you reckon he thought the Aurors had information on his parents, or that he could demand answers from them or something?

No, Longbottom's not the demanding type. Maybe he was trying to sneak around or something, though. Only Gryffindors don't really know how to sneak.

Date: 2010-07-29 07:39 pm (UTC)
alt_michael: (Default)

There now, do you see that comment that one of the girls made? The Prefect said he was sent back to the Horseguards. They certainly wouldn't have done that if he was in trouble with the MLE or badly injured. Looks like it was nothing so dire as what you've been imagining.

Well, he may be in some hot water if he mixed it up with one of other students. But he'll be all right, Alice, I'm sure of it.
