Well, I'm sure Professor Sinistra knows what happened. I saw one of the Slytherin prefects talking to her. She looked a little upset, Professor Sinistra, I mean.
I don't know about that, she hardly ever bothers to write in her journal about anything, so it must be something big. I know he's one of you and Sally Anne's pets or something, but I want to hear what he did.
It's not that stupid, Parkinson. It stands to reason that if his family's been in trouble with Aurors, he's seen them in action. He was saying he'd heard loads about them. Maybe it's because he heard about them chasing his parents.
So he wanted to see how they work, but they didn't let him in.
It doesn't explain the blood, though. Maybe he resisted and someone hexed him.
That's an interesting theory. Do you reckon he thought the Aurors had information on his parents, or that he could demand answers from them or something?
No, Longbottom's not the demanding type. Maybe he was trying to sneak around or something, though. Only Gryffindors don't really know how to sneak.
I'm sure it will be all right, Alice. The simplest explanation is probably the best. A nosebleed as that one girl said, or something similar. Still, I'm sure Bill or Arthur will try to find out for you as soon as may be.
There now, do you see that comment that one of the girls made? The Prefect said he was sent back to the Horseguards. They certainly wouldn't have done that if he was in trouble with the MLE or badly injured. Looks like it was nothing so dire as what you've been imagining.
Well, he may be in some hot water if he mixed it up with one of other students. But he'll be all right, Alice, I'm sure of it.

And he wasn't in the Wizengamot courtroom, either.

He's fairly safe at Hogwarts. He's not safe walking right into the place where Bellatrix LeStrange and Barty Crouch work.
